Dive Site La Bota – Es Vedra
Dozens of different species inhabit this submerged pinnacle surrounded by crystal-clear waters.

Maximum depth: 40 meters.
Minimum depth: 1 meter.
This underwater pinnacle is located some miles off the South-West coast of Ibiza, quite close to the island of Es Vedra. A well-known place to sailors due to the danger it has for boats that navigate in the area since the shallowest depth here is less than 1 meter from the surface.
The dive takes place around the submerged pinnacle, which is like an oasis in the middle of the blue infinity. The dive begins in the deepest area on the East slope. From there, it continues circling around the promontory while gradually ascending to its top.
Due to its geographical location, La Bota is an place where it is easy to find areas of strong current, so it is equally easy to find abundant life. Dozens of different species inhabit the pinnacle: large groupers, barracudas, scorpionfish, moray eels, lobsters, seabreams, tunas, etc. But if there is an animal that makes diving especially attractive here, that is the seahorse, a species that is usually elusive to divers but that is slowly starting to allow us to enjoy their presence here in La Bota.
