The wreck that rests here is the trawler “Hermanos Florit”, sunk in September 1995 when it crashed against Punta Pedrera. Since then, dozens of species have colonized the remains of the fishing boat, turning it into a small artificial reef that serves as a refuge and feeding area for conger eels, moray eels and groupers, among others. It is also easy to find schools of amberjacks and tunas from September onwards. The formations of sponges and algae attract hundreds of small fish such as Mediterranean rainbow wrasses and painted combers. It is an ideal dive for macro amateur photographers.

The dive is less than 5 minutes navigation from the Port of Formentera. The mooring is located on a large rock that rests on a bottom formed by an extensive Posidonia meadow (one of the most important ones of Formentera). The shallowest part of the rock is about 15 meters deep, and at its base we find a small crack where it is not difficult to see groupers and brown meagres. Next to it we find an imposing wall that goes from 12 to 25 meters deep, crossing the seafloor North to South, and that shelters innumerable possibilities for the lovers of the small life like colorful nudibranchs, flatworms and feather stars.
